Attention 8th graders! If you haven't done so already, it is very important to turn in your course selection sheet for 9th-grade classes. You can turn them in to Mrs. Fermoyle or any of your 8th-grade teachers. The deadline is Thursday, February 6th! Also, counselors from the high school will be at BCMS on Friday, February 7th, to go over the course selection sheets and answer any questions you have related to classes. Please think of any questions you may have and ask them on Friday when the HS counselors are here.
Good luck to the boy's 7th and 8th grade basketball teams as they are playing against Beaverton tonight at 5 pm. The game takes place in Beaverton.
Volunteer Opportunity! Each spring the Chippewa Nature Center recruits over 120 teen volunteers to help with the Nature Day Camp Program. These student volunteers help children by creating positive, meaningful childhood experiences in nature. Students should see Mrs. Fermoyle if they're interested in participating in this program.

2/4: Beef or Fajita chicken taco with Spanish rice, red pepper strips, salsa cup, fruit, and milk.
2/5: BC Bowl, chicken smacker, corn, mashed potatoes w/gravy, breadstick, celery, fruit, and milk.
2/6: Spicy or regular chicken sandwich, fries, pickle spear, fruit, and milk.
2/7: Pepperoni breadstick, warm baked beans, fruit, baked chips, and milk.
Upcoming events in February!
February 12: State of Michigan Count Day. Please ensure your student arrives at school on time.
February 12 & 13: 7th-grade vision testing. If your student wears glasses, please make sure they bring them with them.
February 13: Dance! The next middle school dance will take place after school and end at 4 pm. We'll have pizza, pop, and breadsticks for sale. Students can bring $10 and they'll have enough money to get into the dance and get something to eat/drink. Here is the cost breakdown - Admission is $5, Pizza $2, Breadstick $1, and Pop $1.
