Attention readers! The Grace A. Dow Library Middle School Battle of the Books is back for its second year. Middle School Battle of the Book is much different than 4th/5th grade Battle. Middle schoolers can compete on their own or with a partner. The reading list will be five books that will be released on Monday, Feb. 6. Battles will start in April and are 100% online except for the final championship battle. To participate, go to Grace A. Dow website and register by March 20.
The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library is always looking for Teen Advisory Board members. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends, enjoy some free snacks, help plan upcoming events, and earn volunteer hours. The February meeting will take place next Monday, February 6 from 6-7 pm at the library. No need to register in advance. Just drop in! If you’d like to sign up for additional volunteer hours, come to the meeting with your February availability so you know when you can volunteer this month.
