BCMS represented well this past weekend at the Gladwin Invite! The girls finished in 1st place, with Katelyn Dast (not pictured) and Eden Beldyga finishing 1st and 2nd. The boys finished in 2nd place, with Asher Wiggins finishing 6th and Grant Reinke (not pictured) finishing in 7th. Great job by all of our runners!

Happy National Custodians Day to the best crew! Their hard work often happens behind the scenes, but it never goes unnoticed. We'd literally be a "mess" without you! Thank you Bob, Nick & Dan for all you do.

Congratulations to the September Pine River Lancer Superstars for modeling how to be safe, responsible, and respectful.

BCMS is proud to recognize our first group of OUTSTANDING students for Lancers who LEAD for the month of September. These students not only stand out for their positive attitudes, but for being dependable role models for their peers and someone teachers can count on. Congratulations to: Rylin Noack, Jameson Owens, Addison Wright, Sophia Tenny, Eli Hick, Avery Blackmer, Eli Dean, Amelia Duynslager and Brylie Herron.

Pine River students are enjoying spirit week with the Broadway theme.

Floyd 3rd graders are learning ways to defend and protect Michigan. They took the opportunity to walk around our school and pick up trash. ♻️🗑️🍃

This week our school counselors attended day one of a three year professional development journey to grow our capacity to lead a continuous and sustainable school counseling program across Bullock Creek.

Bullock Creek Middle School students received a special message from magician and motivational speaker, Anthony Grupido. His story, The Magic of Hope, was told through magic and discussed important topics such as: resilience and coping with challenges, healthy ways to manage symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression, the importance of asking for help by using school and community resources and finding hope during difficult times. This event was put on in collaboration with BCMS’s PeerLIFT program and Community Mental Health for Central Michigan. Students showed their support for Suicide Awareness and Prevention by wearing purple and teal today.

Mrs. Diaz and her 3rd graders are using Play Doh to figure out the tough distributive property.

Another great night of volleyball vs Meridian! All of our teams played well and had a great time competing!
