Hey Creek! Next week is Kindness Week, so Creekers for a Cause has some awesome Spirit Days for you!
On Monday, let’s focus on what makes us unique with Marvelous Me Monday. Dress up as your favorite superhero, then head on over to one of the posters around the school with a QR code for you to take a survey to find out what your strengths are. Feel free to put your name in the drawing in the Lancer Lounge for a cool prize if you dress up.
On Tuesday, we have Twin Day. Pair up with a friend or group to show what a great friend you are, then take a picture or selfie and show a Creekers for a Cause member to get a special treat :)
Wednesday is Walk for Kindness Day. Gear up with your craziest socks to be put in a drawing for some awesome prizes, then head on over to the table during your lunch and write how you choose how to be kind on a paper foot. These feet will then be placed around the school to show that we all leave a footprint of kindness when we choose to spread our cheer.
On Thursday, we are having Deacon's Defenders Day. For those of you who don’t know, Deacon Orlowski is a sophomore at our school who has been battling cancer for almost 4 years now. To help support him, please dress up in U of M or blue colors. We also will be taking donations of money or gas cards during all three lunches.
To finish off the week on Friday, we have Funny and Flannel Friday. Sometimes the best way to be kind is to make someone laugh or smile. During the day, be sure to put your best school-appropriate joke in the basket in the counseling center to be in the drawing for a prize. To show your school spirit, you can either wear your school-appropriate Halloween costume, or wear your best flannel. Again, anyone who dresses up can put their name in the drawing for a prize.
Lunch Monday - Hot dog, baked beans, Sunchips®, slushie fruit cup & milk.
