BCHS Announcements

Creekers for a Cause will have a meeting tomorrow morning at 7:20 in the Distance Learning Room.

Christmas time is upon us meaning that it is the time for giving. The National Honors Society is starting up the food drive to give back to the community! The food drive will be happening from Monday, December 5th through Friday, December 9th. You can bring in non perishable canned food items, boxed food items, and toiletries. Items will be collected in your 6th hour class. The class with the most points will win a fabulous prize from the NHS.

Hey Lancers! We know you love your Buffalo Wild Wings so why not support the Junior Class in prom fundraising by eating some delicious wings on this Wednesday November 30th. Just a reminder, for your donation to count, you must show a digital or physical copy of the ticket. It’s available on the District website or you can contact Daisy Schwartz or Mr. Schroeder. Copies will also be available in the Main Office.

On Monday, December 12th we will be hosting a FAFSA night from 6pm - 7:30pm in the E wing computer lab at BCHS. There will be snacks, drinks, and representatives from Northwood University who will be available to help answer questions and to help complete the FAFSA. In addition, we will raffle off college dorm necessities to students who attend.

BCHS will be offering the ASVAB-Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery on Friday, December 16th. If you are a junior or senior who is considering the military, please stop by the Counseling Center to register for this free assessment.

The Educational Careers class is doing a Book Drive to benefit elementary students in our community. Please bring in your new or gently used children’s books now through Christmas to help increase literacy in our youngest Lancers. Books can be placed in the box located in the Main Office (by the flag) now through Christmas break.

Lunch Thursday:  Chicken parmesan with pasta, garlic bread, veggies, fruit & milk.
