Congratulations to the Spooky, Creepy and Creative Costume Contest Winners at BCMS!
Our 7th and 8th grade BCMS bands did a "spook-tacular" job playing their instrument at the Halloween Concert. The High School Auditorium was packed as they played a variety of pieces that they've been working on since the start of the school year. A great time was had by all. Keep the great work and we'll look forward your holiday concert in December!
On Thursday, October 17th, five 8th graders from Bullock Creek Middle School attended the Leadership Conference sponsored by the Midland Area Youth Impact Partnership. This Leadership Conference brought together 5th-12th grade students from across Midland County to engage in a fun day of learning and leadership skill building. Some of the day was spent planning the school's activities for Kindness Week that will be celebrated in November.

These kids worked hard and were so proud!
What a great Spirit Week we had at BCMS! The excitement that came with each and every day was amazing as we conquered the theme of "Once Upon a Homecoming." Mr Bovee, through the Cranbrook Institute, ran a program on climate change funded by a grant from Consumers Energy. The 6th graders learned about factors that influence climate change and brainstormed solutions to those factors. They then built models to explain solutions to sea level increase, global temperature increase, extreme weather events and wildfires. It was a great addition to our efforts on teamwork and model building.
