In recognition of National Kindness Week, yesterday was Step Up & Stand Out: Crazy Socks Day at Pine River Elementary. It's a visual reminder for each one of us to be an up-stander by stepping up and saying something when we see or hear someone being unkind.

Congratulations to all of the Creek Band students who performed in collegiate honor bands last week! The students put together a concert in TWO DAYS! Proud of you!

A group of our elementary educators attended the Place Based Conference in Grand Rapids November 9-11th. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with educators, deepen our understanding of Place Based Education, and to learn about resources to support our teaching.
