BCHS Sophomores attend MiCareer Quest at SVSU.
Current Event students are currently working on researching candidates who will appear on the ballots for the General Election in our district. We created tables on the board with information from our research (These are the Democrat and Republican candidates for Governor). During election week, we will be holding a classroom election where they get a general idea of how the voting process works.
Physics students went out to take a look at and measure the angle of the solar panels.
They tried to launch a tennis ball such that it would be in the air for 6 s. It would have to be launched at close to 30 m/s.
This group in honors physics was the first to make correct calculations to send a horizontal projectile through a ring.

BCHS has some exciting news to share! The National Merit Scholarship Corporation recently announced the names of the Semifinalists in the 68th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Jimmy Inman was recognized for being among the top scoring students who took the PSAT/NMSQT last year. He has the opportunity to compete for one of the National Merit Scholarships. Congratulations and good luck in the next step of the competition Jimmy!
Congratulations to Mikayla Blasdell and Megan Rosolowski. These two recently received the National Rural and Small Town Award from College Board. They earned this recognition because of their academic achievements in school and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT10. They've accomplished these milestones during an immensely demanding period of their high school career. We are proud of their accomplishments!
